Eva – Secretary
Hi, I’m Eva. I first joined Phoenix in February 2025 after receiving such excellent support from the group, and later joined the board as a Trustee in October 2025. I’m transfem and, thanks to the encouragement and understanding I found here, I’ve been able to live as my authentic self and now want to give that same support back to others. I’m proud to help echo Phoenix’s values and be part of a community that truly uplifts and empowers everyone. Outside of Phoenix, I work in the cybersecurity industry, enjoy DJ’ing, and love playing computer games in my spare time.
Danni – Treasurer
Hello, I’m Danni, I’m non-binary trans femme, I joined this community in 2023 when I came out as gender fluid, and joined this group in 2024 and wanted to help. I’m dyslexic and neuro-spicy and an engineer at heart. I love my food (a lot), dance music, cars and generally having a laugh with my friends.
Seb – Trustee
Hi, I’m Seb and I joined the group in 2024 after moving to Hull from Exeter. I found this group to be so welcoming, friendly and supportive that I wanted to give back, so I joined the board a few months later. I came out as trans in 2012 and have seen things change a lot for trans and nonbinary people in the time since, some for the better and some for the worse. I’m here to support our community, whatever happens next. I live with my partner Connor and our 15 cats, and I love board games, live music and cheese.
Connor – Trustee
Hi, my name is Connor, I moved to Hull in 2024 and got straight into making friends within the trans community. I have found this group to be amazing for support and forming friendships. I want to help out where I can and support those on their journey to become their authentic self. I am a cat dad to 15 cats and live with my partner Seb. I have been transitioning since 2017.
AJ – Trustee
Hey all, I’m AJ, a trans man. Well known for saying the thing that shouldn’t be said, I am silly, highly competitive, neurospicy, and passionate about more things than I have the energy to pursue, including but not limited to beatbox, history, writing, boxing, sensory tools and Reeces PB ice cream. I met my chosen family and my girlfriend at Phoenix, they were there for me when my world felt empty of hope, they are my support and my joy and I am proud to serve in what way I can on the board.
